How far in advance do I need to book an experience?+
We ask for at least 48 hours notice before your check-in date. For Private Chef experiences or large groups, 72 hours or more is appreciated to ensure we find the best provider for your needs.
Do I need to be staying at a Bonsai Stays property?+
Yes — our in-stay experiences are currently available exclusively at properties managed by Bonsai Stays. This ensures our providers are familiar with the property and can set up appropriately.
Can I combine multiple experiences?+
Absolutely. Many guests book multiple experiences for the same stay — a morning yoga session, an evening private chef dinner, and a charcuterie board on arrival. Just list everything in your inquiry and we'll coordinate it all.
What's the cancellation policy?+
You can cancel or reschedule any experience free of charge up to 48 hours before the scheduled time. Cancellations within 48 hours may incur a partial charge depending on the provider.
Are providers vetted and insured?+
Yes — all experience providers in our network are professionally certified, insured, and background-checked. We only work with providers we'd trust in our own homes.
Is the price listed inclusive of everything?+
The prices shown are starting rates. Your final quote will depend on the specific experience, duration, number of guests, and travel distance for the provider. We'll send a full breakdown before any payment is taken.
