When you submit a referral, we log your name and the date. If the person you referred signs on within 12 months of your submission, the commission is yours — even if they reach out to us independently later.
We pay by Interac e-transfer or cheque, whichever you prefer. The $250 base commission is issued within 30 days of the property's first completed clean. The $50 listing bonus is added at the same time if they're live on our platform.

For the base $250 commission: the referred property's first completed clean with Bonsai Stays. For the $50 listing bonus: the property must be active and listed on the Bonsai Stays platform at the time of payout.
If they're not yet a client and your referral submission precedes their formal onboarding, you'll still receive the commission. If they've already signed on before you submit, the referral would not be eligible. When in doubt, submit early.
